It has been a love hate thing for a long time. Mostly love though for sure. I guess that is pretty obvious though. The old air cooled and there electrical gremlins were not any fun at all. The red split window I had pretty set up real nice though. the engine was built and had dual carbs on it. Quite a bit of fun indeed.

That is crazy. I don't know if you can see it but I put a tiny safety pin through Ronald's nose

word... yeah literally on your old golf, i think the color scheme you had going on is what sold me on them. tyler? had the silver jetta?
sorry if that wasen't aimed at me

The guy right above you learned to drive on my old golf because he is a friend of my brothers

That car in person looked so much better too. For some reason it just couldn't do itseld justice in pictures. In real life it really worked though

verrry nice timeline good sir http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
and about the red gti being your biggest mistake, no worries man! just get your current gti better and better, cause it'll never end!

I know 4 doors are pimp, but they just dont have the same lines. I can see myself trading this for another 2 dr eventually. It would have to be pretty nice though. Maybe Rogue status will see this and fall in love w/ it.
I could do that

interesting and quality thread... this can't be the mk4 forum. but seriously bad ass man

This was the closest emoticon I could find resembling "taking a bow"

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. That goes for all the other folks who have shown me some love in here too

How many times do you think you "swore off" VW's in all those years?

The closest I have come is swearing off the older ones as daily drivers. I'm done w/ that ****. About 5 years ago I bought another vanagon when I was between vehicles. I had always wanted a sunroof bus because the sunroofs are massive and super pimp. I got sick of that in a week

i feel like i have seen that first picture before

old timeline maybe?
I believe you were the first to do the vette wheels right http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

No, I think I was the 2nd or 3rd mk4 though. I was however the 1st to rock them w/ mad style

I agree, I posted up in your original thread and knew what this was going to be when I saw the thread title. http://****************.com/smile/emlove.gif all the OGs!

Nice, I was a little hesitant w/ the title but it does kinda live up to it. I wanted the old folks who were around to maybe know what it was too. Glad you knew what it was

And I would like to know how you knew this
?
Nothing on the car is the same any longer.

I've been around for a long time. I'm just that good! Kidding.
I used deductive reasoning - black Golf 1.8T, Connecticut, etc.
It was a shot in the dark.

i remember the white mk3 the ginster and both mk4's kinda crazy you owned all these air cooled cars, almost as bad as me selling/buying cars. as far as breaking those coil's loose nothing a pair of channel locks wont take care.

i dont want to trash them though. The B&G's are so popular someone in my are has to have the tool. We have lots of dubbers in CT. Now that the season is almost over I'm thinking I might just wait till spring.
