Re: Some more pics of my blue beast (tec_rabbit)

I like the roll cage and the paint color but my head is turning left to right when I look at the hole in the hood and the three metal rods holding that horizontal bill deal. The hole is probably for functional reasons but the black plastic piece in the hood looks unfinished.

Re: Some more pics of my blue beast (Vedubauman)

They are 47mm SK racing carbs. They use weber jets and internals. It is a 1.8 with a massaged head and Isky racing cam. I love the feel of the carbs compared to the cis and if nothing else I love the adjustablity of the carbs. As for the hood peice It directs the hot air from the radiator awy from the carbs intake path. I was more concerned with the go and not so much the show.......It doesn't look that bad!

Re: Some more pics of my blue beast (Chapel)

I am not exactly sure of the hp yet, I will dyno it before the end of summer, but it's enough to keep a smile on my face. The carbs are not "hard" to jet it's an easy procedure and i am still messing around with them just for the hell of it. I got the SK's from a race car up in canada, they where in excelent condition and had all the original paperwork from TWM induction. As for the mirror It is great if anyone has ever tried driving in trafic with a harness on you kniow what I mean. I never use the side mirrors and can basically see whats right next to me with the wink. Mine is mounted to the roll cage so I can't help you with the mounting. The car is out all the time in rochester....you will usually hear me before you see me!
