How much did it cost you to debadge the trunk? Also, did you put the E36 lights in or did you have a shop do it? Your Passat is def. one of my favorites on this forum. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: some new pics... (Sculls84)

i debadged the trunk when i repainted the car, so it was simply part of the paint job, which is hard to capture in pictures, but has a large amount of pearl in the paint, which lets it sparkle under light and i did the e36 myself, i simply bought some metal ties from home depot and trial and error from there, i had a friend of mine help me but thats about it, also we built in a small adjustment nob for angle of headlights... also i extended the bezel arround the grill so that there is no gap between the bezel and the lights, which is usually present with the e36 install.

Is that a twilight violet or a storm grey (or neither)? It's kinda hard to tell from the pictures.
I like the painted grill, but did you intentionally remove the badge?
Overall, I think it looks fantastic! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: some new pics... *new pics added* (DrivinAJetta)

The color is actually stock windsor blue, but it has a massive amount of silver pearl in it, so in certain lights more blueish gray, in other more purple, and in other simply sparkly, the badge should get back on the car soon enough just one of the pieces of the grill was lost in painting but once thats painted badge will be back on.
The coils are eibach springs on some sort of ghetto coil over setup, it came with the car, but it is adjustable height with this sort of sleeve that goes over the shock and becomes the spring pirch. I put on koni yellows in front and reds in back for fully adjustable ride (height and dampening). The wheels are 18x8 actually, Voxx Scorze Wrapped in hankook ventus k104 tires 215/35/18, so far no rubbing, if i go any lower though i think i would encounter some.
Ill get some pics of the exaust cut out as well, it was simply cut with a hacksaw worked well

The front lip wasn't too hard, but i didn't do it the (in retrospect) smart way, which others have done it on this board... i left all the clips from the seat in place and removed the ones that didn't fit from the bumper cover, as opposed to other way arround, which everyone else has done, then i used simply nut and bolts to hold it in place.
