I've been thinking about getting a TDI lately, and from http://www.upsolute.com they claim more power and better gas mileage. I read the discription of what the chip actually does, and they say that it just times the ignition and whatnot better. I was always under the impression that it raised the max boost?
Could someone confirm this please?

don't quote me on this, but i believe in a diesel, enough air isn't the problem, it's the fuel. So timing the ignition will get you more power i believe. try the technical forums.
