I wouldn't want to own a Toyota FJ Cruiser, but I'd buy one of these:

I guess sometimes just a subtle change here or there can turn a vehicle from something we don't like, into something we do. Can anybody else think of some other examples?

I like it.
I wonder how strong and easy to maintain those vehicles really are. Has anyone had any experience ?

Haha nice response. Anyways, I too am attracted to that thing even though I hate the normal FJ cruiser.

Thanks, that was clever.

So, are you telling me that say a Lexus LS is as cheap to maintain as an old Land Cruiser ?
That's what I am was talking about.

Very nice. That would solve my biggest complaint about the FJ.... huge blind spots.

Despite that being a worthless truck bed it does look pretty tough.
I think they should offer a removable back like a hard top Jeep Wrangler. Cuz that would be the best of both worlds where you could have your hatch area with the roof on to possibly carry something, or a kind of open back sort of like that with the top off.
