Re: Spark Plug Wire Puller (ACKTung)

I need one for a VR6 engine. I see you have a 1.8T. I don't think that will work, will it? If it will, how much do you want for it? Let me know. Thanks man.

The 1.8T has no spark plug wires, which is probably why he doesn't need it.

Re: Spark Plug Wire Puller (RodG)

Look at wires first to see if you need it.
Most of the 2000-to present VR6's have loops on the wires for removal and install.
So there's no need for the wire puller tool plus it won't fit on the wires.
Look at the wires and you'll see a black plastic loop pull on it and it will extend for you to pull them off.

Push down on the loops until they click on the plug.
Edit: the loops will click down onto the wire to their storage position. Then feel for the click onto the plug.

If your looking to change the plugs - you don't need that tool at all. I changed the plugs in my VR6 - just remove the plastic cover and pull up on the black ring.
