My car is approaching 30k miles and I'm still running the OEM plugs. I checked my manual to see when I should (or should have) replace(d) them and it says, "Your plugs will be replaced with every scheduled dealer tune-up." Well, my car hasn't seen the dealer since I bought it, so I 'spose I better change the plugs.
Anyway, what are your favorite plugs for a VR6 and where did you get them?

Re: Spark plugs... what are your favorite kind? (Blitzkrieg)

I just changed my plugs this morning. I used the NGK BKR5-EKU, the copper version of the OEM plugs. I've never been big on platinum plugs. The coppers don't last as long, but they're cheaper and the VR6 plugs are easy to change as long as you have the right tools. I bought the plugs from Potterman.

I've used both the Bosch +4 and NGK Platinum on our VR6s. Both seem the same to me. I'd probably get the stock, copper NGKs next.
Nice to see a low mileage car. Wish I could drive that few miles annually.

Hehehe... it's called a Toyota Tacoma daily-driver and a GTI VR6 weekend play-thing
