Planning on building a 2.1L 16v to drop into my A3 (bla bla...I'm not concerned about inspection...thats what the city of Newark is for..)
In the beginning..my goal is all motor, 2.1, P&P, Valve Job, Balanced Bottom end, Adjustable FPR, Forged Pistons...etc and so forth to wind up at the OEM compression ratio for a 2.1 psudo-spec motor. (theoretically 10:1 ..right?)
What would be the ideal set of cams to run knowing a turbo will be slapped on after the engine has been thoroughly broken in and ran for quite some time?
I am definatly planning on running Schrick cams, but what spec?

Cams w/ turbo, you want high lift, and mild duration.

I would recommend the new TT cams due to their wider lobe centers. Less overlap with good lift for $400. Schricks low end cams are not designed with a turbo in mind.
