i recently bought some H&R springs off of someone on here (got a great deal) he said they were for a 16v but by the H&R website the numbers on them are for the 8v. I was wondering if anyone knew the difference and if i could still use these. i'm not mad or anything because i got such a great deal just want to know if these will fit on a 16v.
the numbers on them are 54743 F and 084043 R.

The rears should be the same but since the 16v motor is heavier than the 8v, the fronts should be a bit stiffer. If you use 8v springs, the car will be a bit lower in the front and the front will ride softer (due to the extra weight) than the rears which will probably actually decrease understeer.

sounds like i'll probaby go ahead and put them on and see how it is. anyone have a prediction of how they will act with bilstein sports?
