when you buy lowering springs.....do you have to buy shocks struts and all that or what?do you still have to buy that when you get coilovers?

If you want to keep the factory shocks/struts,your best bet is probably to use Eibach springs.They make some lowering springs that work well with the factory dampers.
What ever you do,don't put Neuspeed sport springs on the factory dampers.I did that for a few months until I had the money for Bilstein shocks/struts,and the ride quality was terrible!!
So yes,most of the time you are better off with the whole set at one time.Lowering springs,shocks,and struts.
Coil overs are sold all together.The springs are all ready on the dampers.

thanks.......i was looking around...and on nopi.com----there's some APC coilovers for $200...the price is definitely right...but it kinda makes me wonder b/c its so much cheaper than other brands-----so is APC one of those companies where its cheap money for a cheap product or is APC a quality company?thanks..

I too must chime in and tell you that APC sucks for true performance modifications. Sure, APC can make a mean clear corner lens, but then again, a lot of people say they crack and fill will water too! (like mine did!)
So if they can't even make a quality corner lens, why trust them with such an important modification! Don't take chances when it comes to tires/wheels/suspension!!! These parts are the only things between you and the road!!! The last thing you want is a poorly made perch to break during a hard turn and send your front end plowing through the curb!!!
