Im having similar problems. A creaking sound while backing up and turning, and also while going low speeds you can here it a little. What we've come to the conclusion of is that it was installed all messed up. While looking at the strut assembly cap, its no longer flush with the car. I'm going to be ripping into it myself to find out what exactly messed up. I'm not sure if your still having the problem, but if you are I'll keep you posted.

Ok thanks. Well the guy seemed to know what he was doing on mine. Didnt look that difficult. How will I tell if its flushed or not?
Re: sqeaks and snap noises (Bozzza)

I saw first hand what the problem was. The upper strut mount bearings were destroyed. This caused the upper strut bushings to get all messed up. How we initially found the problem, was the fwd upper strut mount cap (the black piece seen from the engine compartment) was off the body about 1/2 in and under the cap, we could see the bushing trying to fit thru (cocked of course). Messed up, and all because the bearings were supposed to get changed out with the new suspension. Learn something new everyday. Hope this helps? Keep us posted.
