have a 2000 Jetta (GLS VR6). I got new H&R OE Sport Springs and Bilstein HD shocks. After about 100 miles after installation the springs squeaked (popping noise) when steering (especially noticeable after starting from a stop). Got an alignment and the VW dealer lubed the shocks/spring seats but said due to aftermarket item.....(still makes the popping noise). Any suggestions?

Re: squeaky (garm)

I should have mentioned it that the bushings where replaced with RS/TT ones and the strut mounts were replaced too.

sway bar issues.....either the bar itself, the bushings or the swaybar hitting the axles. Mine hits the axles and it sounds like a bushing/ spring popping issue. removal/ new swaybar (aftermarket) or longer/adj end links are common solutions. but i could be wrong and this isnt your issue at all......even tho im willing to bet it is
