For our fourth edition in the Stars of Geneva 2015 series, we though it fitting to feature the all-new Passat Alltrack, with its extremely familiar new 4Motion badge .  It's a car that tugs on our heartstrings for a multitude of reasons, from its manual transmission to the bright orange (and not grey) paint.

Powered by the customer's choice of two TSI and three TDI powerplant options, the Passat Alltrack comes ready to tackle just about anything you can throw at it with a dedicated Off-road mode, changing ABS settings and enabling a Hill Decent Assist mode.  Towing capacity comes in at a very impressive 1,800 kg (3,968lbs) on the entry level TSI model, and 2,200 kg (4,850lbs) on the higher powered TDI offerings.

This second generation Passat Alltrack comes with all of the media and convenience features available on the standard European Passat, making it quite the luxurious do-anything vehicle.  This particular example was spec'd with the supportive and well bolstered allroad-embossed cloth seats that we'd personally go for.
