Start ignition switch connector melting! Please help me hotwire the car!
Hey all.
I got lots of trouble with my connector going to the start ignition switch melting. The red cable (battery +) gets really hot and have melted the connector. I only know one solution! Make a start button! How do you make a start button to start the engine without the connector connected to the start ignition switch? I know the solid red goes to red+brown(?) to turn the start motor. But that just makes the start motor turn and does not actually start the engine. I know the solid black is battery -. What are the other two cables? (I think one is black+yellow and black+something else).
I would appreciate help a lot! Thanks!
