starter installation need advice!

Ok i just got a new starter today because my old one took a crap. Now there is a brass bushing inside the bellhousing and i have no idea how to get it out. It is original so it is stuck good anybody know how to get this thing out.

according to the bently you need a spcial VW tool to pull the brass bushing out.

Use a 12 mm tap and thread it in to the bushing, and then yank the tap out.
And for installing one use a soft brass flat face punch. But put it in so its seated straight first and then lightly tap it. And if you don't replace it then the new starter dosn't last long.

Oh yea look at the new bushing and see if its 10mm or 12mm can't remember.
