Starter noise

When I start my corrado I get a whine from the engine. I think it is my starter. Has anyone had this type of issue before. Is it the starter solinoid

Is the whine right after you let go of the key asthe engine starts? It's the starter itself.

I thought so to so I had the starter rebuilt. The noise remained?
