Car only runs with the the ect disconnected, if you leave it plugged in it will start but pretty much instantly die. I have replaced the ect with a new one but it has not helped. I havent gotten around to checking the resistance values of the sensor yet, I plan to do so tomorrow, but was looking for any other suggestions if the values check out ok, i.e what to look at next. Thanks in advance, 2.0 16valve 9a with cis motronic.

Well i fixed the issue, turns out the isv was stuck closed, some sea foam deeo creep, rapping with a screwdriver, and applying battery voltage in pulses freed it right up. I also cleaned the ground at the o2 sensor, but starts and runs great now if a tad rich.
