Stock offset or Stock Wheel Questions? Post them here.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the "what offset are my wheels" threads, I think it's time we get something in the FAQ on this topic. Please constrain all offset/stock wheel questions to this thread so that we can have one source of info that will help the next person to come along with the question.

Offset questions:
Stock offset varies depending on the wheel you are talking about. So, depending on which wheel you have the answer will be different... please post the type of wheel you have (or think you have) if you want to know what offset you have.
.... and no, et35 is not usually the answer.
Wheel questions:
If you have any other question about stock* wheels please post as much info as you know. Keep in mind that a year or other detail might be necessary for us to fully help you.
*"Stock" wheels includes stock wheels from other Audi/VW years/models.
Wheels for a4s are 5x112.
TT/most vw wheels are 5x100, they will not fit.

Offset Calculator:
Just handy to have around as you try to fit aftermarket rims, or want to know your stance with various stock rims, so I've included this:
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
If anyone has another they prefer please post it and I will add it.
***If we get enough wheel names, offsets, and pictures in here I will make it into a list with pics and offsets so it can be used as a quick refrence guide, so add any info you have even if it's unsolicited.

I have not purchased any yet. I am waiting for my current tires to end their time.
But that is what I plan on doing if i dont find a set of the Ti wheels for cheap.

What is the name of that wheel Ti? It’s a B7 A4 S- line 06.05.04 model year? . Where can I find a picture with the wheel installed in the car, anybody has that? What is the audi link for that wheel?

it is off the the B7 A4 S-Line with Titanium Package.
B7 was produced late 2005-current, however they just recently introduced the Titanium Package.

I just got a set of 15 inch Rabbit wheels from a 2005 rabbit and i was wondering if they will fit cause the offset is 47 i believe, and my stock offset was 35 so it should be no problem right?

Re: Stock offset or Stock Wheel Questions? Post them here. (robbyb413)

i'm looking to buy these style wheels:

for my 1998 1.8t fwd sedan
i see a pair on ebay here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1
but in the listings of car they fit it doesn't have my exact model, it has:
A4 1.8T fwd quattro base sport 97-05
and I have a fwd
if those don't work, this site has recreated them for the 96-06 a4:
http://www.lakeshorewheelandti...shtml
secondly, i have no idea what dimensions the tires i would need are since neither of them list a ###/##HR17 number
thanks in advance

Fit: They will fit.
Tire: It's 17x7.5. You put 225/45/17s on it, like everybody else.

HELP NEED ADVICE

I've got an 98 Audi a4 not really sure what size of wheel spacers to run on front and back to give me a more aggressive look without rubbing?
I will never lower my car because i live in the pothole capital Maine, but i want a more aggressive look to my car. I have the stock rims on right now can i still space out my wheels or will it look dumb??
if so what if i got bigger rims??

What? Maine is not the pothole capital. Boston is. I ran a corrado with h&r race springs on bilstein sports year round when I lived up there and had no problems.
I'm sure the guys at http://www.mainevwscene.com and http://www.vwmaine.com could tell you all about lowering your car up there...
