Stock Seat Mod

I hope this isn't a stupid or repeat question. How do I remove those plastic skirts around the bottom of the seats? I searched all over this site with no luck. If anyone knows could you share your knowledge with me. Thanks.

Unscrew the phillips screws in the skirts....
To do this you'll need a phillips screw driver though, you can get one at your local hardware store.

Hey smart a$$ I can figure that much out but they still connect to the side of the seats somehow. If you can't be of any help then stay off my thread!

Yeah i want to do this to my passenger seat side cuz my passengers are jerks and broke it so now it rattles against the seat platic. What are those things for any ways, change? your car keys? sandwich? all mine does is collect dirt

Just use force. They're probably clipped in just as every other plastic peice in our cars. Unscrew the screws and pull hard. I wish I had them on my car, I don't know why you'd want to get rid of them. Put some velcro on there and use it for a place to keep your head unit remote, or something.

There are actually some people on this board that are stupid enough not to know to un screw the plastic from the seat. So he was just getting the obvious in the air. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

With that said just pull they pop out.

You need to use a torx bit. Remove the recaro handle. You will need to pop off the seatback adjustment knob. It is held in by tabs that you can get to with an angle screwdriver to pop it off. Remove the side plastic cover and it will be evident. So many smarta$$ess in here to mask their ineptness at helping a fellow dubber. What a shame. I apologize for them.
