they are solid cross-drilled, single piston caliper (older vw rear) and the disks are wearing awfully, where the holes are the brake pad isn't really contacting, there are rings of rust where the holes are swept and grooves on the other areas. it greatly reduces swept area. what could cause them to wear this way, did I not break them in properly or something? wrong pad choice? thanks for any help.
