Stress bar installation? (UPDATED)

Just about to install an ABD upper stress bar for my 1992 8v GTI so I'd like to know if you ppl have any hints/tips/warnings about the installation (sounds simple enough though)...

UPDATE: Just try fitting the thing on my car and I found a couple of problems with it:
1. The stress bar presses on the gizmo on top of the engine it looks like it could be the fuel pressure regulator (pardon my lack of knowledge in this case).
2. The "feet" of the stress bar (through which you bolt it to the body) do not sit flat on the strut tower so if I tighted one end, the other is up in the air.
Should I exchange it for a new one?

here you go...
step one.
throw away nutserts.
step two.
buy grade 10.8 or anything close bolts and nuts.
step three.
drill into strut tower as straight and vertical as you possibly can
step four.
it sucks to try to tighten nuts up in the strut tower... so have fun
step five.
goto your nearest parking lot for some plowing fun.

illusion has it.

one thing tho, thread the bolts up from underneath so the nut is on the top of the tower. It will make it easier for you to remove in the long run if you need to

You can go to a hardware store or Grainger and buy a set of shouldered bolts with a knurl at the head (imagine a stud on brake rotor or hub). You can then install them from the fender side up and use a large washer and nut to secure them to the strut tower. This way its a permanent install and can use nuts from above (imagine the MK1 strut bearing).
I'm picking up my Eibach stress bar this Sat. and I'll be doing just that.
