maybe. too many variables for a "straight up" answer really.
depends on how you drive it. same mods killed my 01 4spd. k04 makes a ton of tq down low = hard on tranny. i drove it hard (although nothing ridiculous) & downshifted too often. it's also possible my tranny problem was misdiagnosed by lazy vw dealer.
