I need to remove my subframe and i dont know what i should buy. i would like to get a hoist but i dont know if the legs would get in the way of removing the subframe. i would like a support bar for convenience but i dont really know what companies are good and if they are reliable. the last thing i want is my ish getting all f'd up because of a bootleg support. i looked at a company named OTC that makes an engine support bar that is rated up to 700 pounds. and looks quality but i dont know. its regular 255 bucks but i can get it for 200. has anyone used support bars and are they sturdy enough for the engine and trans? this would really help me out to decide.
