i found quite a few ever since trading in my 01 for a 02 GTI. aside from the obvious 150 to 180 hp change and cruise control lights, here's what i have observed from my 2 GTI's.
1. No such thing as 2nd gear grind. heard alot of it, but never happened to me.
2. There's an "ergonomic" handle to adjust the seat forward or backward for both the driver and passenger seats.
3. there's no slot for an airbag for the 02's in the passenger seat. hard to explain, but the airbag in front of the passenger seat seems to be the whole dash in front.
4. The gray fabric in the hood is more rough than the one in 01's.
5. The glovebox hatch has a more subtle sound when u open it. The 01's have more of a click sound and feel to it.
thats all i've found so far. anyone got anymore? its cool how VW is constantly updating their products in small little ways to satisfy customers (subjective statement, don't go crazy with ur experiences).
