okay im looking to buy a CD reciever to upgrade from the crappy stock system thats in my 95 civic EX. basically my target is to pay about $150 and get a decent sounding system with a detachable faceplate. as for the stock speakers, they will be okay as long as i dont crank up the bass/treble, and since i expect it to deliver decent sound anyways (from the increased wattage), this shouldnt be a problem unless a morons is riding shotgun...
at the local best buy and circuit city i've found pioneer and alpine decks that deliver pretty clear sound. however, i wanted to find out which brand you guys would recommend. I'd also like to know if there is any other place when i can get a better buy. I'm in Buffalo NY currently.
