My friend has a Mk IV and her sunroof cover, the one on the inside of the car, came off it's tracks. The sunroof won't open because of it, it gets stuck. If you try and move it back it goes about 1/4 of the way, making clicking sounds, and then stops and gets stuck. Anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help me fix it? Thanx

I hope u still have you b2b warranty... The dealer is the best place to get something like that fixed.

Well, it's my friends car. I'm pretty mechanicly inclined but I must admit this is my first try at a VW. I don't want to go exploring and mess something up, plus she can't afford a dealers maintenance charge, assuming her waranty is up. I don't know how long it's supposed to last but it's a 99 with 45K on the odo. What's the warranty on these puppies?

That _exact_ same thing happened to me before I drove my MkIV Jetta off the lot after purchase. They fixed it right quick though.
