today trying to go up a big hill, my car was at 4000rpm's trying to go up a big hill, i wasnt really going anywhere either. so i pulled off to a sidestreet, got home safely and felt my atf cooler, and got burnt. it was very hot, it is not the stock cooler, but rather a mere 1 foot x 8 inch cooler. my question is, if the cooler isn't big eneough and dosent cool the fluid eneough, can it cause the transmission to go into limp mode? (i plan on getting a new oem atf cooler/radiator this saturday anyway) also if the fluid gets to hot can itcause the transmission to blow?
