Hello,
The vehicle in question: 1997 Jetta , 2.0L, 117k miles
I've just ordered an Eibach Pro-System Kit (springs and dampers) and an O-Bar rear sway bar. I have not replaced any suspension components, everything has 117k miles on it.
I want to replace whatever suspension bushings I should at this time. Besides the strut bearings, what else should I replace? I'm looking at OEM replacements.
Thanks.
Note: I x-posted this since the suspension forum is crrrreeeeeeppping. I'd kind of like to make a purchase today, so any help is appreciated.

Re: Suspension bushing Info (tyrantanic)

Refresh kit doesn't include front control arm bushings/ball joints and front sway bar bushings...all this stuff is cheap and if I were spending the bucks to add the stuff you are to a suspension with 117K on it I'd replace em...example...ball joints are $12 each and with suspension torn apart anyway labor to install is maybe 1/2 hour tops! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Suspension bushing Info (spitpilot)

Well, I think I ordered everything I'll need from ECS.
control arm bushing kit
complete upper strut mount kit w/ perches
ball joints
sway bar bushing kit
rear suspension hardware/install kit w/ perches
serp belt tensioner (to fix the terrible banshee screeming in the morning)
I didn't order any tie-rods or ends, or the steering rack bushings; not sure if I should do them or not.
