Hello everyone,

I'm new to the vw group... thanks for the support in advance!

i got a 2016 vw jetta 1.4T (base model) of course, i swapped the seats for leather ones! I got the sets from a newer vehicle that had been in an accident! The seats themselves are mint condition and the airbags didn't go off. Now the issue is after putting the new leather seats (only the driver is electric) the airbag light came on for the passenger (code:B102231) i checked the wiring looked okay! The error says: passenger occupation detection system control module; no signal. Anyone faced this before? I do have OBD Eleven to scan and do stuff.

Going to need to swap the occupancy sensors/pad from the original seats

Hmmm okay! So i threw away all the seats except the driver...! Does the driver one work for the passenger seat?

Passenger seat only has this sensor/module. Check pin orientation as wiring changes thru the years. Then you will have to do a seat Recognition adaption for the passenger seat.
