I have a 2001 AWW 1.8t Jetta motor and am looking to buy an ECU for it. Does anyone know if there was only one type of ECU for all 2001 AWW 1.8t. Will any AWW 1.8t ECU work with my engine? How can I find out for sure. I only have the motor, and no ECU.

If it is a 5 speed then the ECU P/N should be 06A 906 032 DL
