I keep hearing about you guys using the switchblade keys on you MK3, Can anyone please tell me where I can get one and where I can get it cut for my 97 Golf. Also does anyone know if the 97 Golf came with keyless entry remote and if it does can i program the switchblade key for it? Thanks guys.

try searching the mkIII classifieds, i saw it a few weeks ago. as far as the remote goes, i believe its a big NEGATIVE on getting it to work...

I would like to know about this too. i have both my old keys still from my old MK4. can I use these to make it work for my MKIII. do you just take the MK4 keys and have them re-cut?

Allright..i see im gonna have to make a Switchblade key how-to. I have all the pics...just need to get off my arse and make a page. Get the switchblade off of ebay super cheap, cut up one of your keys that came with your car. Don't mess it up and take your time. I'll make a how to within the next couple days. Maybe i'll make it tonite at work. heh.

EDIT: If anyone has found out how to program these yet please do not hesitate to post it up. I miss my keyless entry allready!
