I just test fitted my new TT race header on my 88 8v Golf Lemons racers. Man, what a header!!! I pulled the terrible stock toilet bowl header off and can see that O2 sensor might be too short to reach way back where it is on the TT. The stock one has it only a few inches from the block where the TT is where the cat would have been.
Has anyone run into this? Can you extend the O2 sensors wires or snake it around to fit?

great. thats easy enough then Now the fun part, removing the old one and not destroying it.
