So I bought my buddy's 2.0L turbo rabbit last week. It was misfiring badly and he was fighting a lean condition. First thing I did was replace the plug wires to fix the misfiring issue. I just had a 2.5" turbo-back exhaust built today and now all I have left to do is figure out why I'm going lean under boost. It happens usually when I put a big load on the turbo....say 2nd gear at 2k RPM's at near to WOT. It goes lean (according to the AF gauge) and cuts out completely. Here's what I know about the turbo setup.
Digifant 1 ECU/harness from a G60
Stock G60 injectors and FPR
CIS fuel pump
T3 (looks like the same one 2kjettaguy is running - I think it came off a Thunderbird)
I'm running 5-7lbs of boost most of the time according to the gauge (it read as high as 9lbs from a pull in 4th gear on the way home.) What could be causing my lean condition? I'm new to turbos, so please bear with me.

whats the co_pot set to? check the resistance between the two outer prongs, shoudl be around 450 - 500 ohms.. next is it a 8v or a 16v? also do you have a chip for it? if so ask the chip company about the problem

I checked the CO pot (it was at 561) and set it back to 499-501 as I wasn't able to get it dead on to 500. To answer the 2nd question....8v crossflow head.

He's not allowed to sell it. At the price he's paying for it, it's more like he's renting it for a year or two.

And yes chad, you will need to buy a chip from mkrad sooner or later.
