[Simplistic87Scirocco]

Anyone know what range a stock TDI's boost is at? My friend would like to install a boost gauge, and I am trying to help him out. Has anyone else put a gauge in? Where can I get a nice looking (read factory looking) gauge, in the correct measurment range?

You need a boost only (TDIs don't have vacuum) guage.... For stock (no chip) 20PSI should be enough... Chipped you need to get to 30psi (turbo surge, etc)... I run an Autometer 3403 (0-35 PSI) with a chip and never see it past 24...

Yah i run the autometer too...looks nice...works nice...and its goes to 35psi incase down the road you need it.

Did you guys install the gauge just above the radio, i was thinking about using that empty slot, saw some 3 gauge type setup that i liked and the lighting on the gauges matched the stock lights... give input thanks http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Can someone tell me how you get the "filler cubby hole box" out of the dash as was done in the previous installation? Thanks.
