Actually Chris, what you see is a cat that was perfect when we put it on the car. The flange has about 3" of space between it and the matrix. Also, we made VERY sure that the heat from welding didn't damage the cat as we welded it.
When it went on the car, it was a cat that looked like it had 10 - 15K on it. 3K later, it looked like this.... any explanation?
Chris, I find it hard to swollow that you challenge me and flame bait me at every step of the way. You challenge my Dynos, I say nothing to you. You challenge the things I say, I keep my mouth shut. If you believe so strongly that I am incorrect, prove me wrong. All you have done so far is just talk where I have proven everything I do. I am sure you will continue to challenge my dynos, but I have held fast to my theories that dynos dont show overall HP, they show CHANGE in hp. On a dynojet, with the same setup that I had (GIAC Version 4a chip for a 01 AWW engine, Evo CAI and my exhaust), I made the changes in hp that are quite credible. I have always said that each car will be different and each setup might have similar results, but never have I said that I can magically give you my infamous 213 whp if you just buy my exhaust. Trust me.. I am also somewhat shocked at the amt of power the dyno indicated with my black car. I don't manipulate dynos, basically, i don't lie. I let the findings stand where they stand. Another proof of power with the black car was the speed I was able to run in the 1/4 mile (an indication of power, not driver skill, which is reflected on time). I ran a solid 101 mph on every pass either with weight reductions or without.
Anyway, I just wish you would try to back your claims with something more then disbelief and jealousy.
