All you MkIV VR6 owners with a TT or a Magnaflow 2.25in catback exhaust - where did you get it and for how much? I've seen some high prices so I'm wondering: is it really worth the little hp increase (yes, yes, of course there's the sound and look, too

)?

I have the TT w/ borla muffler. I really like the sound that it puts out. Deep and powerful. After putting it on I really did notice a diff. It seemed to pull a little harder. I got my TT straight from TT. I think it was like $600. I know that AWE Tuning (www.awe-tuning.com) has the same system for $480. i think there's GB on the magnaflow..not sure tho. there's been several of them
already i can't keep up.

are you open to any other suggestions???
i just got a new exhaust that no one seems to have. not too expensive at all, good quality, and really opened up my top end. throttle response greatly improved.

Eurospec full stainless steel from the cat-back. 2.25" piping with dual chrome 2.5" tips coming out the back. the kit looks awesome from the back and sounds great. i lost no power whatsoever. feels like i actually got some torque down low. it most definately helped up on the top end. plus the whole kit 395.....not too bad for such a great system.

this is the best i can do at the moment. i never realized how well a exhaust tips set off the rear of my car. my rear just looks more balanced now. if you didn't guess from the pictures, i got the exhaust from ECS tuning. http://www.ecstuning.com the kit might be a few dollars extra for the jetta exhaust because it is longer. overall, i'm very happy with my decision.

how does the eurospec exhaust and the magnaflow hang with the stock valence, does it dit nice and tight, or does it hang low. i want that system so bad.

Eurospec exhaust hangs right under the rear valence. as close as it can be......looks good. i thought it wouldn't cause it would be too low, but it looks really good. lord......i've got a magnaflow. sheesh.
