you could also get mk4 for mk3 lights, smoked ecodes, smoked mk4 for mk3 lights, dual rounds...any of these will give you better lighting than stock, though if you go with anything besides, smoked ecodes or regular ecodes, youll need to swap grilles and hoods with a golf because they dont fit jettas

PIAA makes really nice replacement bulbs.
I think they are called PIAA super whites or something...

Yeah get the PIAA Superwhites. They are a bit expensive, probably around $80 for a pair but the output is excellent.

If you want imprved lighting...Go with a set of E-codes. Probably the best and most functional mod I have done to my car. The whole lighting issue really does not have to do with the bulbs...
