Took off my tensioner pulley to greas it and the hole in the center seems considerably larger than the bolt that holds it on. Is this right? Should there be a bushing or something?
? Ive got a pulley, bearing and bolt. The bearing is in the pulley but the hole in the center of the bearing that the bolt goes through seems far too large.
This picture shows all the parts of the tensioner bearing.
Bolt, beveled washer and pulley.
If you look carefully at the tensioner, you'll see the pulley mount is stepped. The smallest ring fits perfectly in the inner diameter of the bearing.
This shows the bearing seated flat on the tensioner, just waiting for the washer and bolt.
