Just wanted to let everyone know that even if we want to take Joel fastest record back there team is always there to help out and WF weekend was another example.

on the way up from Canada we got the garden state parkway and a strap that holds the car in the trailer broke, wich broke the parachute mount, dented the hatch, cracked a bit of the custom front end.

Called Mark friday night and he said to meet up at Palumbos shop and he could weld it for us:thumbup:, got them and Sam, Mark and crew went to work as i stood there with my south park T shirt looking on, they did a great repair and was off safely to the track.

We did not need the chute but felt good knowing it was welded back on.

Thanks again for all your help we always have a good time with you guys:thumbup:

Pittsburg will be fun again and can`t wait to come up to support a great VW event.

thanks again to all of you for everything.:)

See you at the track

Anytime Marc! We're always willing to help-out a fellow competitor. You guys are always fun to hang-out with. Get your car dialed-in and bring it down to Pittsburgh so we can go a few more rounds on the track.

First pass Joel ran a [email protected] lifting because he forgot his neck collar in the trailer and there wasn't enough time to get it. Second pass we broke-- we figured it was gonna happen but brought the car anyway to make an appearance. A fix is in the works, there just hasn't been enough time to get hold of the new parts.

not clean for us either we ran 10.6 132mph with a flat car, got in the pits and piston were all wet... change some stuff went back out broke the inside flange again, we have some billet ones on the way should get them late this week.

we are now going back to leaded fuel and last year basic tune wich we will re adjust, E85 is good but giving us a bit more work and at that this time we need to make some passes asap.

2 weeks will be out again re tuned on C23 wich we will be able to run 40psi not and with the new inside flange we will be able to use the 2 step
