Vogtland Race springs. Never once rubbed. At 22kmi, suspension is just now starting to get a little softer.

H&R race or sport? Is that a little rake I see too? Any rubbing with those 18's on? 18x8 right?

vogtland, keeps the stock ride quality, just a tad stiffer but the average person wont notice it

Same experience here with Neuspeed.....tad stiffer than stock GLI's but most people don't even notice.
And the tire rubbing is a function of the offset and width...not lowering.

I'm considering Eibach's. Anyone running the Sportline on stock shocks? Any rubbing?
Any one have any comments on the Sportline?

Save up enough $ and by the whole enchilada...otherwise you will notice that you are a bean or two short after a few bites.
I choose to wait another month and buy both springs and shocks when I was looking....I found a MAGIC combination !
My aftermarket combination choice added much enthusiastic road holding capabilities, not to hard not to soft. I adjusted the rears so they were hard to about 75 % over stock...and adjusted the fronts relatively soft....this gave the vehicle a feeling of rear wheel thru corners and better overall handling caracterisitcs.
Tires will be the next big step as they are the attachment to the road and is a very important decision as well..
I bought my set up with performance and functionality in mind more than I did for looks.
Do your research and go out and get the best deal.....there is strong competition in this area, so prices can be negotiable.
