Oh, I have an affinity for old, small economy cars and rather like the old Maverick, but you absolutely nailed it. It absolutely was a disposable car with a much shorter lifespan than any car nowadays. As much as I would love any small bumper Maverick, they were pretty much disposable junk back then.
They do, we just don't get it. I wish that we did, as we love our Fiesta. But alas, the Fiesta is dead in Europe as well. It's too bad Ford can't make a new Ecosport type vehicle on the new Fiesta.
Did you just search "Ford Maverick" Now why would an owner of a Ford Maverick search just that? lolNow you are just trying too hard.
I just did a search on Ford Maverick on google and stopped looking after 13 pages with no mention of the 70s penalty box.
They should of just named it Ford F-050!
I remember it. One of the better looking cars Ford has ever made, IMO, and it makes for a damn fine restomod.... and nobody remembers the Falcon based Maverick, not even the Hi-Po Grabber anymore.
Not a bad article, if it only glosses over each vehicle, but the big takeaway is this: "more bang for their buck than a box of firecrackers on July 5th". I'll try to remember that one.![]()
The Drive’s Best Truck of 2022 Is the Ford Maverick
We tested a lot of pickups in 2022, and when the staff was polled on their favorite, the Ford Maverick won. And not by a little.www.thedrive.com
I'm talking the car buying public. If you were able to buy a Maverick new, or even remember them as common used vehicles, you belong to AARP.I remember it. One of the better looking cars Ford has ever made, IMO, and it makes for a damn fine restomod.
I have started receiving mail from AARP...I'm talking the car buying public. If you were able to buy a Maverick new, or even remember them as common used vehicles, you belong to AARP.
