I like the new 5-Series a little more every time I see it...so it's definitely growing on me.

That's certainly true. When the A6 was first launched a lot of people complained about it being bland - now almost every review of the car raves about its styling. But unlike the new 5 it isn't being different just for the sake of being different - it brought some lasting effect to car design.
I have a feeling the new 5, and for sure the 7 which is itself due for a premature facelift, won't join that list of cars any time soon.

I use to hate the new 7-series but now I really love it and I think its one of the sexiest cars on the market... however this new 5 is NEVER going to grow on me, there is not one good point about it... The lines are all wrong,the bumpers dont mesh into the body at all, as well as the trunk,tails and headlamps... just one big ewww haha

i don't hate it, but i don't like it. I mean it's not something BMW should be doing(especially when MB is making beautifull conservative cars).
The taillights alone make the entire car look cheap. Look at the line that goes front he rear taillight and cuts in to the rear window.It looks cheapish. Usually even if a design on a Bmw isn't that nice i kept on defending it, but theres nothing i could talk positivily about.
That design is anti- 5series, anti- BMW and anti- german.
