Hi everyone! My friend introduced me to this site, 'cause Ive got a VW yellow 2k 5 speed 1.8T Beetle that i absolutely adore. Its my first car, and I love it. Ive done a few things to it allready since I got it, which was June 01. Ive got an added dual exhaust tip, front and rear clear corners, 12" 1000w Rockford Fosgate sub w/ box, 2 channel 800w amp, altezzas (that i know no one on here likes

), limo tint, spoiler, splash gaurds, black lights on vanity mirrors, and some lil things here and there. By the end of this month it will be 2 inches lower, and by summer time will be on 18s (hopefully!). I just went to my first VW GTG too, last weekend at Hunington Beach, CA. It was great, the people are extremely friendly, and it was even further proof that VDubs rock. Well, I guess thats about it, I just wanted to say whats up, and hope everyone is having a great day! Next, if you're thinking about getting involved in a VW club, I'd recommend http://www.hydrosport.org Its based in O.C. - lots ove GTG opportunities: they go to shows, track days, the First Friday Nighter road rally, have monthly club meetings, help each other with mods, and generally hang out and enjoy talking about VW's. I really resent that remark. I own and love my 2.0 Beetle. Show it some love. We are all in this niche together whether it be 1.8t, 2.0

Oh, BrownE, do you have any pics of ur car? It sounds really awesome. And redstorm... I think its great that youve got a 2.0, its just cool no matter what because its a VW. And yah, im only 18 years old. Im a youngin. I got my car for a birthday/graduation present from my parents. But all the mods I have to pay for, which i never thought could be so expensive! But its cool, and its a ton of fun. Im probably going to the Ventura/Burbank GTG Sunday, so hopefully Ill see some of you guys there! Have a great night!
