I started this thread because the MK4 wheel thread was very successful.
With the confusion as to what wheels WILL and WILL NOT the the MK5, this thread will help people figure out what wheels WILL fit and what sizes those wheels are.
OEM and aftermarket rims are welcome!
Here is the format to follow:
Year, Model, Engine of vehicle
Brand and Model of wheel
Size of wheel
Offset of wheel
Brand and Model of tire
Size of tire
Brand of suspension
Model of suspension
Any added notes about the suspension
List any issues that you are having with the setup.
Post a picture of the wheels and tires you are talking about mounted on the vehicle you are talking about.
NOTE - DO NOT POST STRAY COMMENTS IN THIS THREAD. THIS THREAD IS TO POST THE INFORMATION AS STATED IN THE EXAMPLE ABOVE. MODERATORS WILL DELETE ANY/ALL STRAY POSTS.
THANKS

The coilovers are spun all the way down in the front. The rears have about 1/2 inch of thread left.
The front and rear tires rub when going over bumps between 10-15 MPH along with going over bumps at speeds higher than 75 MPH.
When there is one passenger in the front seat, tire hitting fender is more prominent.
One passenger in the rear is possible, but not recommended.

I ran Kumho Exsta Supra 712's on my MK4 and I really liked them.
When I went to buy rubber for my MK5 rims, I was going to get the Kumho's again.
The guy talked me into the Coopers because of the wear rating.
The Coopers will last much longer than the Kumho's.
The Coopers grip like no other!

So why do some rub and some do not with same wheels, offset, springs?

If you read some of the posts, you'll see that the difference can be in the tires. One manufacturer can make a 235 tire that's almost as narrow as another manufacturer's 225, and vice-versa.
