8 weeks later and I still do not have the centers from a set of wheels I got from them. Pretty much the same story here as the rest of you guys dealing with them! Lies, lies, excuses, no returned calls, no answering the phone, lies, no replies to emails, excuses, oh and did I say lies!! Well today it got even better!!
My Stoptech kit was finally ready to go and be shipped to me! Well that's not going to happen! The payment card they gave Stoptech for their acct rejected it! And what a surprise, no one is able to get ahold of anyone there. They didn't answer them when they called for another one, didn't return the call, or reply to an email.
So I get an email from Stoptech explaining what happened and that until TRS gets back to them they cant complete the order. About 2 hours after that I get an email from TRS's automatic system saying a credit was placed on my CC. That's good right, at least I got my money back right!? Nope, I paid for the kit back in Dec the same time I paid for the wheels (did I mention they still haven't sent me the centers yet? today is Feb 8th!). Since then I have already paid the statements for both the wheels and the kit and closed that account! Just talked to the CC company and there isn't anything they can do! Its been 60+ days since the transactions, the balance was paid off, and I no longer have their card!
Unreal!!! I cant even get a reply, a call back, let alone have someone answer the phone there! This is going to be real fun trying to get my $$ back from them! I left a message on both numbers for them and an email explaining this to TRS this afternoon! Considering everything that had been posted about these guys recently I wont be holding my breath waiting for that call!
I did a map-it from me to their "business" address and it is about 3 hours to get there. Spoke to a few local Vortex members tonight about a little road trip. I've had enough of their BS the last 8 weeks to last a lifetime! If I dont get a phone call by Sunday morning with some answers we will be heading to Akron Sunday afternoon in a few fill Dubs to see in person what exactly is and had been going on at (or should I say has NOT been going on!!!!)
