well i got a response to my email today-- my email simply asked what was up-- so i get a short little email today(like two or three weeks later) saying they've creditted it back to my card-- thats nice and all, but i still want the damn coilovers. no explanation, nothing from them, just a credit-- i never asked for a credit, just my coilovers....how do i get in touch with KW?

Re: The Racestore....again (putang spangler)

KW has really gone out of their way. KW Variant I's for 899. I would like to get the Variant II's, since that is what i originally ordered, but i will be more than happy to accept KW's resolution to this mess.
Thank you KW http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: The Racestore....again (Jetta97GT)

ok, here's my take on this situation.
KW offers up a "deal" to all of us who didn't get the coilovers from theracestore. they say you have to shell out an aditional $200 for these coilovers (as compared to theracestore price). they give everyone till the 12th to place the orders. so we all get 4 days (only 2 of which are business days) to get the credits back from theracestore. I would bet money that 99% of the people won't have the credit back from the racestore by this time, and don't have an aditional $900 to throw down on another set of coilovers.
it seems like it is a good deal, but they aren't exactly going to move 100s of sets like they make it seem like they will. and some people (like myself) are on somewhat of a budget, and with the canadian dollar being as weak as it is, an aditional $225 USD for coilovers is around $360 canadian dollars.
I would bet money that the credit won't even be on my credit card by the 12th, so I guess this alone throws me out of this "deal" that KW makes it seem like they are giving us.
taking it from both ends, I would LOVE to run KW coilovers on my car. I know they are the best coilover for the money in the world, but with all the screwing over the KW salespeople (theracestore and HPA) are doing, it looks very much like I will be running H&R products this year on my car.
oh well, can't win 'em all
