Looks like the OE option for the MK4 was clear vinyl.

Figured I’d be the guinea pig and I got a good deal anyway.

I had my buddy with a MK5 measure his bumper and I figured it would fit. It fits! I probably won’t use it until I get the car painted though.

Good luck finding one though.
