i have a 2001 GTI 1.8T AWW engine code. I been getting the same errors in the past 3 months and i really dont know what to do now.
My engine mods are: TurboXS DV, AEM CAI, UPsolute chip, custom grounding wires, Bosch copper spark plugs.
the rest are all stock and untouched.
9 Faults Found:
17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
P1297 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17536 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
P1128 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16686 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0302 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17545 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Rich
P1137 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16687 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0303 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16688 - Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
P0304 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16685 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0301 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17608 - Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249): Mechanical Malfunction
P1200 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

You ve been getting all those codes over and over again? when you erase them and do a 10km road test wich ones comes back right away?

i didnt vag com my car after i cleared the code and drive for 10km
when the CEL comes back on, i vag com it and those codes appeared again.

usually last for 4 or 5 days then CEL comes back again

bad DV valve is causing the p1200 code and you're probably hearing some whistlong type noise on decel. if this dv valve is not holding vacuum it could also cause too rich and too lean codes. recc. replace DV valve, clear codes, "re-align throttle" and road test about 12 miles. then check display group 32 . if either of these percentages are not within + or - 5 % you have a bad MAF. Unless, the first percentage is is the only one out of wack ( high + number) that would indicate a vacuum leak. email me if you have any questions.

thanks for the help, i will try play around with the DV then find someone with a vag com and test it out
