Anyone have a place for me to start looking into this?

Specifically I know the way to fit the engine into the car physically, however how do I wire it to run in the older platform?

Looking for info/how to on it if possible.

I understand a tune is ideal but what do I wire into the car?

I will have an entire 2006 Passat car to pull parts from that is currently running/driving.
