My friends brother had a gorgeous E36 M3 Sedan. I thought that car was just about perfect.
I've been wondering what the next "you need aNext up: The You Need a Porsche 944 thread
I don't care about image, but in the US they fall into the trap of any older premium-brand car that can be kept barely running without proper maintenance... most of the E36s on the market are trashed. Always that baffling combination of a car which needs a few thousand dollars worth of maintenance but has a few thousand dollars wrapped into phat rimz and halo headlights and garbage like that.Yes, it's a great design. But, unfortunately it's also a car that tools in their early twenties have imported from Germany for years now. As a result its image is a young guys' tuning car here now, which is just sad.

Agreed. Alpine White M3/4door/5speed is the perfect e36 imo^^ You have my perfect E36. Alpine white (i think?) M3 Sedan. I've already got an E30 and an E34, I suppose the next logical progression is an E36?

It hurts how much I want that. E36 is my favorite M3. I can't explain really why I like the design so much, but it's pretty much perfect in my eyes. Also, the colors are awesome. Boston green, estoril blue, or dakar yellow. I can't decide which one I like more. Right now though I'd go for the greenYes, it's a great design.
